General Editor Dr. Alderete
Based in Mexico City, but hailing from Patagonia in Argentina, Dr. Alderete is a leading figure on the international lowbrow scene. A graduate of the School of Fine Arts at the Universidad de La Plata in Buenos Aires, he originally worked as an animator for MTV in Latin America and Japan, and for Nickelodeon in Brazil. He is also the co-owner of the independent record label Isotonic Records, and of Vertigo: a cultural centre, music venue, gallery and shop in Mexico City.
